The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

We assisted Free Range Games with various character and technical animation tasks on The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. Our primary focus was developing the Dwarf Creator, which involved collaborating with engineers to ensure all dwarves shared the same skeleton in Unreal. We also created Animation Blueprints for beards, hair, and props for both player characters and NPCs, and managed rigging, skinning, and in-engine character implementation. Additionally, we retargeted motion capture data for the cinematics, streamlined the Maya-to-Unreal pipeline, and set up Unreal scenes and camera layouts for their cinematics.
